In the summer of 2018, I suddenly found an MR2 in Bochum on a relevant portal. The pictures were a bit very shot from the hip, and I was unsure if there was a deal behind it - no matter what the photos are: call! A short time later I was on the spot. An older gentleman, one of the first German Toyota dealers in the 70's, had sold this model to a customer and took it back in trade years later. He kept the Corona, out of passion, because his oldie fleet included more than a dozen old cars: some Toyotas, of course, but also excellent luxury cars like Bentley and Jaguar inspired him. "Sometime it's about time" he said and so we got talking.

But until we agreed on the price it took some time and in 2020 it was time - and it fills me with joy every day when I go by the garage and take a leisurely drive on nice days - yeah!
